Episode 1: Yatra Udhyamiko

The first event of Yatra Udhyamiko was held on 14th of June 2018, Thursday, with 170 participants representing various sectors of society - businessmen, government officers, teachers, social activists and youths. The program featured Mr. Krishna Rai, an entreprenuer in agricultural sector. His hardwork that bought significant impact in the economy was honoured with Award for Best Agro Based Agricultural Depart by the  President of Nepal.

The program was divided into three sessions.  In the first session the speaker shared his journey towards entrepreneurship, his struggle, hard work and outcome he received. He also delivered a very influencial speech on handling obstacles with determination. He motivated the youths towards entrepreneurship by sharing with them he stories of hurdles, failures, hardwork and success that he personally experienced. The second session was conducted by Mr. Samrat Thapa, Director of Everest Policy Institute, in an interview format. In this session Mr. Krishna Rai provided insight into the opportunities that youths have in agriculture, the problems and obstacles  they might face, and the support that they may recieve from government or other sectors. The third session was an open discussion where the audience interacted to Mr. Krishna Rai and erased the curosity that they had regarding the sector.

The first program of Yatra Udhyamiko was a great success as it provided a broader view to 170 participant about the immense opportunities of the Nepalese market and encouraged them to at least consider about starting their journey as an entrepreneur.
