The event of the Silah Foundation for Development in cooperation with the Entrepreneurs Foundation A workshop on financing and lending funds in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week 14/11/2021 AD, where 7 financing and lending funds from banks and funds participated in the workshop (Youth Support Fund - Revolving Fund - Solidarity Bank - Bank Al-Amal - Yemen Finance Union - Small and Small Enterprises Agency Simps - Kafel Fund) in the absence of the Bank of Yemen and Bahrain from attending.
And a number of civil society organizations, entrepreneurship trainers and entrepreneurs, in the presence of the Director of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Hadhramout Al-Sahel Governorate and the Deputy Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Hadramout Coast.
In the opening, Dr. Abdul-Baqi Al-Hawthari praised the great role played by the Silah Foundation, the Rowad Foundation, and its establishment of this qualitative workshop that serves the community.
For his part, Mr. Khalid bin Shehab, Director of the Department of Community Development, gave a speech in which he welcomed everyone, pointing to the foundation’s orientation towards the pioneering empowerment of the community through the “My profession is in my hand” program, which is the window for that. The annual event was held in Hadhramaut in 2019 and began to gain remarkable interaction and the role of Rowad Foundation in the development of entrepreneurship.

Recommendations and suggestions during the workshop

1-Forming partnerships within the framework of the highest Hadramout Microfinance Network, similar to the idea of ​​the Yemen Microfinance Network

2- Creating awareness flashers to increase the level of awareness of the community’s culture about finance and entrepreneurship.

4-Monitoring the success stories that happened with the donors and publishing them in the form of a guide inspired by the experience of the Federation.


. 5- Urging the relevant authorities on the importance of facilitating giving and communicating information to its requesters
Facilitating the mechanism of dealing with the guarantees set forth in the institutions' own rules and regulations.


7- Getting to know the financial culture of decision makers and legislators regarding financial controls for grant/loan applicants and those with entrepreneurial projects.Work joint solutions in facilitation of the aspects of the guarantees provided.
