Financial Literacy and Its Importance for Entrepreneurs in Time of Crisis

Are we financially (il)literate? Especially in times of crisis, knowing how to manage finances and understanding the concepts of the world of finances is crucial. That’s why the purpose of this #GEW2021 event is to highlight the importance of financial literacy as the speakers will help us redefine this concept and show us if generations of Macedonian adults and future entrepreneurs know their money. Participants will have a chance to find out firsthand what it means to become a financial literacy advocate as well as tips and tricks for entrepreneurs to navigate these challenging and unpredictable times when financial resources are scarce for many.

Global Shapers Skopje Hub is part of the Global Shapers Community – an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It is comprised of young and ambitious individuals who are committed to empowering community members to be positive agents of change in their society. The Hub partners with local organizations to tackle the most pervasive issues in the community through promoting youth engagement, entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship.
