Annual International Mikkeli Day -event was organized for the 7th time on Thurday 15.11.2018 in Mikkeli's shopping centre Stella.
International Mikkeli Day -event is organized in cooperation with Mikkeli's city and different educational organizations. The event is a free international event where everyone is welcome. International Mikkeli Day is all about internationality and different cultures.
The guest speaker in this years event was Ali Jahangiri who is famous finnish comedian and speaker. In the event Ali was speaking about the role of comedian in a diversity society. During the event people got to see different national dresses, amazing music and dance persormances from different cultures and presentations of local students of different degrees. In the event were also commercials of Home is looking for a person - Romany pictures.
International Mikkeli Day was a great success. Many people came to the event to see how international their own city is.
