As a part of the GEW, Xamk’s JA-students were presenting their own JA start ups in the Mikkeli’s campus. JA-students were attending Xamk’s JA Start up -course which is coordinated by Junior Achievement (JA). During the JA Start up -course student creates a mini enterprise based on own ideas or innovation. The mini enterprise is in action during the whole school year. The enterprise works on real markets offering products or services to real customers. The course is an excellent opportunity to develop own ideas and skills needed in the business world.
On Tuesday 13th of November JA-students were presenting their start up -enterprises in the main lobby of Mikkeli's campus. Students were presenting their business plans, but also real product and services their Start up -enterprises are offering.
