Since the conclusion of Global Entrepreneurship Week in November, the GEW Global team has been hard at work expanding the campaign into new countries. Going into to 2013 we have a number of new hosts that were able to join us in Rio for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress and learn from the seasoned hosts.
All the new host organizations have a background in building ecosystems within their communities and will be great additions to the GEW community:
Finland - Aalto Entrepreneurship Society

Iran - Iran Entrepreneurship Association
Iran Entrepreneurship Association is a non-profit organization that champions the entrepreneurial spirit in Iran by providing assistance to entrepreneurs using different initiatives.
Myanmar - Project Hub Yangon
Project Hub Yangon enables Myanmar entrepreneurs to quickly, easily and effectively take their ideas to profitability and scale so that they create value, innovations, livelihoods and solutions to Myanmar’s most pressing problems.
Senegal - Jokko Labs
JokkoLabs is a private, not-for-profit initiative launched in Dakar, Senegal. It’s an independent “action tank” that aims to identify and support the innovative ideas from entrepreneurs of the digital economy, cultural industries and medias in order to accelerate the competiveness of nations and prosperity for all.
Vietnam - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is a national organization which assembles and represents business community, employers and business associations of all economic sectors in Vietnam. The purpose of VCCI is to protect and assist business enterprises, to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and to promote economic, commercial and technological co-operations between Vietnam and the rest of the world.
