In Focus: ICT in Algeria

AICEP, sponsored by Banco Millennium BCP, held an Em Foco (In Focus) dedicated to the Information and Communication Technologies market in Algeria, on October 24rd in Porto.

The Algerian government's commitment lies in the technological development of its companies and institutions, and is very active, through the Ministry of ICT, in several areas of this sector, such as in the development of numeric platforms (e-payment, e-banking, and -government), of the web contents and in the optimization of cyber-security. This puts Algeria on the map of the markets to be considered in the context of the internationalization of ICT companies.

The session began with a presentation by the director of AICEP in Algiers, João Falardo, which brings the novelties of this market.
