Formal Launch from Local Host YBTT!

The entire global community comprising a diverse group of stakeholders including world leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, captains of industries, innovators, job creators, and start-ups would collectively celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022 in November! Youth Business Trinidad and Tobago is the proud local host of this Global Celebration! And this year we will be kicking things off with our FOrmal Media Launch happening Wednesday 2nd November 2022 from
2:00pm – 3:00pm

GEW is the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship aimed at bringing ideas to life, driving economic growth, and expanding human welfare. Founded in 2008 by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (USA), Global Entrepreneurship Week, which runs this year from November 14th – 20th, has provided a platform that creates one global entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare. During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national, and global activities designed to help them take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors, and even investors — introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.

According to Jonathan Ortmans, President of the Global Entrepreneurship Network “interest in start-ups and entrepreneurship continues to grow in all parts of the world; GEW provides a shot of adrenaline at one concentrated moment, to help provide nascent entrepreneurs with access to research, programs and network they need to maximize their potential.”
