About the G20 YEA:

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (G20 YEA) is a global network of approximately 500,000 young entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them. In conjunction with the 2015 G20 Leaders’ Summit in Antalya, Turkey, hundreds of young entrepreneurs met in Istanbul for the annual G20 YEA Summit from September 7 to 9, 2015. This gathering built upon a tradition of collaboration between the world’s young entrepreneurs that began in Italy at the 2009 G8 summit and continued at successive G20 YEA Summits in Canada, France, Mexico, Russia and Australia. Each summit released detailed communiqués to engage the G20 Leaders and other bodies, deepening our shared understanding of the importance of entrepreneurship and presenting ideas to advance it.

About Global Entrepreneurship Week:

From November 14-20, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) will inspire millions of people around the world to embrace and celebrate entrepreneurship. GEW is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.

Entrepreneurs are the backbone of the Canadian economy. They head the small and medium sized enterprises that make up 98% of businesses in Canada and, for one week each November, we celebrate and support these leaders and community builders.

As the official host of GEW Canada, Futurpreneur Canada invites you to join the celebration!
