AI, Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy: Ensuring AI Reaches Main Street

Session Description

Only 7% of businesses in the US are utilizing AI.

AI is already changing the fortunes of many, bringing new headwinds for some and tailwinds for the early adaptors. As this global revolution unfolds across the world, it is important to ensure all communities have the opportunity to understand and apply AI to their businesses and lives.

Philanthropy can play a vital role in providing AI engagement and educational programming delivered in ways that are understandable to all communities – especially those who traditionally might be left behind.

This convening will bring together key stakeholders to discuss funding and future developments in helping small businesses leverage artificial intelligence, with a special focus on AI tools that support entrepreneurs from historically underrepresented communities.

Through curated discussions and strategic networking, this GEC session seeks to spark actionable initiatives and investments that can drive inclusive innovation and contribute to shaping the future of AI use among entrepreneurs and small businesses. It will lay the foundation for tangible funding opportunities and long-term innovation support.

Representatives from private and corporate foundations will discuss the challenges ahead in ensuring the communities they serve as charities have equal opportunity in leveraging deep technologies available to all in the future.
