Indiana Ecosystem Tour: Shaping the Future of Food through Innovation in Agriculture

Discover how innovation in agriculture is shaping the future of food, sustainability, and technology during this immersive, day-long tour. This experience offers a firsthand look at cutting-edge advancements in row crop agriculture, including emerging agtech, research-backed genetics, and Purdue’s foundational innovation ecosystem. Participants will gain insights into how scalable technologies are developed, validated, and brought to market in an industry undergoing rapid transformation. 

The afternoon portion of the tour takes place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse— one of Indianapolis’ premier sports and entertainment facilities— and will highlight how agricultural products like high oleic soybean oil meet consumer demand and create added value throughout the supply chain, from farm to food service. 

This tour provides a unique opportunity to see the full agricultural value chain in action, offering participants cross-sector inspiration, new market insights, and potential pathways for collaboration and innovation. 

About Ecosystem Tours

• We’ve highlighted the audiences each tour is primarily designed for, but anyone is welcome on any tour.
• Transportation is provided from start to finish for each tour via executive coach, which is not accessible.
• While we recognize that many attendees may be interested in participating in more than one tour, tours are all day with no ability to join in progress, so participants are only able to sign up for one tour.
• Participants will receive more details and a full agenda a week prior.
