GEW Event for 2023

During GEW2023 the Business Support Center Yemen, (BSCy), one of the Yemeni Business Club (YBC) projects, Will implemented the following activities :
Bootcamp Entrepreneur Consultations:

The idea of establishing an intensive camp through which advanced projects are diagnosed and directed by specialized consultants came from the urgent need that entrepreneurs need in Yemen to ensure the continuity of their projects, as the camp will be for 3 days for 40 projects, through which they work side by side to diagnose their projects and prepare them for the final presentation and evaluate their projects by the jury and select the best 3 winning projects.

Workshops for Microfinance Institutions and E-wallets:

entrepreneurs will  introduced to the concept of microfinance and obtained the knowledge of MFI services and how they can get financing for their projects. The MFI services was provided with an ease to projects and the BSC has signed and MOU prior the bootcamp to support these projects. 

The E-wallet services, will introduced to entrepreneurs and how it can support them to facilitate cash management and cash flow. 

B2E Sessions:

 This activite  will  collect 40 projects distributed equally to have a round table discussion with Business men to provide them with experiences and advices to be reflected in their business journey. This  will support entrepreneurs to increase their knowledge curve and it will provide them with strong reflections to overcome the challenges they might face in the future,

Conclusion of GEW activities:

 The GEW will finalize with a closing ceremony by which four projects were invited to share the bootcamp experience they will get that through what is the strengths and weaknesses as well as the benefits during their participation,

 Three projects will select based on their strong writing of their businesses development plans, these projects they will receive white funds ( no interest ) from one of the MFI's.

University and school and Institutes:

The center  will organizing more than 5 workshop awareness in the Universities and schools and Institutes, with the aim of raising awareness of the concept of entrepreneurship, and instilling the importance of entrepreneurship among students , a   It is expected that the number of beneficiaries of these grants will reach approximately 700 students
