Global Entrepreneurship Week - Cabo Verde

Around 35,000 events and competitions will take place during #GEW2022, connecting nearly 10 million participants, potential collaborators, mentors and investors worldwide, dozens of world leaders on all continents and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations.
In Cape Verde, this initiative is promoted by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cape Verde (AJEC), the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) and the Institute for Support and Business Promotion (ProEmpresa). It began in 2008 and has rapidly grown to become a comprehensive effort involving young entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, advocacy organizations and others collaborating to advance economic growth and innovation in more than 170 countries.

The event in Cape Verde aims to inspire and train young people across the islands, promoting dynamic activities and guidance to Cape Verdean entrepreneurs.
Very current topics such as entrepreneurship in Cape Verde and the challenges, technology and innovation, female entrepreneurship, inclusive entrepreneurship, how to succeed in the business world, financing, among others, will be part of the range of lectures.
