GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK FOR YOUTH BY YOUTH HUB ASUF

The Entrepreneurship Week, 14th-18th of November, 2016

              Youth Hub-"A drop of happiness"/ “Un strop de fericire” Association is organizing the third edition of the "Entrepreneurship Week" for teenagers. The project brings in the Ploiesti community the Entrepreneurship Contest, which is going to take place at AFI Palace Ploiesti, on the 17th of November, as well as it facilitates study visits to successful companies and thematic conferences hold in schools all along the week. The project main objective is to encourage the initiative of young people, to use their ideas practically, to find the utility of the knowledge acquired in school during the entrepreneurship courses. It is addressed to teenagers under 25 years old. At the contest and conferences, managers from local businesses community will provide specialized advise to youngsters involved.

             The contest of entrepreneurship ideas awards the best promotion speech, innovative idea, business plan and display stand. The winners will benefit of guidance for their business plan improvement, support for setting up their own business and an internship during the holiday.

         Last edition in 2015 reunited over 100 youngsters and 25 business ideas. The presented fields were various, such as: bio agriculture, the production of food products, make up products, IT, beauty services, catering, entertainment, art, interior design, photography, accessories, and handmade products.

The event is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, an international initiative of promoting the entrepreneurship among young people from all over the world, in which, last year, 88 countries participated with 32.000 activities.

This project is being accomplished with the help of  the National College “Mihai Viteazul”,  Ploiesti,  Afi Palace Ploiesti, Proleasing Motors, The Master Plan Agency, Coilprofil Romania, Kredo Management, Patronage of Small Enterprises Prahova.

         Youth Hub - “A drop of happiness” organizes for the third year in a row this entrepreneurship fair for young people, the development of the teenagers from the community being one of the main purposes of this center.
