Victoria Lennox:(Headline Speaker)

Victoria Lennox is a 30-year-old Canadian social entrepreneur, commentator, program architect and policy advisor who has a track record of creating meaningful political and policy inroads to advance entrepreneurship.

As the co-founder and CEO of grassroots non-profit Startup Canada and the founder and President Emeritus of UK-based Charity NACUE, Victoria is recognized by the UNDP and EU as one of the foremost experts in entrepreneurship education; ecosystem and program architecture, governance, development and implementation; and, in fuelling entrepreneurship movements and awareness campaigns. Victoria contributes actively on the global stage as the founder of Startup Generation; a catalyst of the Startup Nations; through speaking at global forums; as an advisor to more than 20 youth enterprise organizations; and, by supporting colleges and universities in countries across the world in enhancing student entrepreneurship.

Jarrod Goldsmith: Jarrod is the founder of one of Ottawa's best networking events ESAX. In September 2011 Jarrod was accepted into the Ontario Self Employment Benefit Program (OSEB) and finally got his chance to make his entrepreneurial aspirations come true. Sax Appeal has been a great success for Jarrod but not everyone needs a Saxophone Ensemble so he found he was doing a lot of networking. He found great connections at all of the Ottawa Area Chambers of Commerce but found that most entrepreneurs did not realize what a great resource they were. Thus eSAX was created to bridge the gap between Ottawa’s Chambers as well as to show entrepreneurs what networking is about.

“As a new entrepreneur, you must appreciate that the main purpose of networking is to build meaningful relationships.” – Jarrod Goldsmith

“If coming by bus, get off at Merivale / Enterprise Stop #6102 and walk up Bongard Ave. Free Parking if you drive.”
