How we measure the development and impact of social entrepreneurship. Tools, practice, future.

Measuring the social entrepreneurship ecosystem growth is of key relevance for the creation of concrete policies and development of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. For that purpose, Social Entrepreneurship Observatory is going to introduce the Index for Social Entrepreneurship which is a tool that is offering a holistic approach in creating national policies for social entrepreneurship. Many other existing tools will also be topic for discussion, in order to raise the awareness about the importance of the social enterprises and social entrepreneurs. In the end, through a concrete example it will be introduced how a social enterprise is measuring its societal/social influence, the tools that it is using and the results it is achieving. During this event, we will also tackle the evaluation of the national ecosystem for social entrepreneurship, evaluation of the influence of the key actors in the ecosystem through an example of a social enterprise and we will give recommendations for the development of that sector and social enterprises in future.
