ICT Agency of Sri Lanka hosts Global Entrepreneur Week (GEW) in Sri Lanka

The Information and Communication Agency of Sri Lanka has partnered up with Global Entrepreneur Network (GEN) and volunteered to be the official host of Global Entrepreneur Week (GEW) for Sri Lanka for continuously 3 years till 2024.

The ICT Agency of Sri Lanka has welcomed other ecosystem partners in Sri Lanka who support and facilitate building the entrepreneurship network. By now, the ICTA has signed the MOU with the GEW and is ready to make the next big milestone in the entrepreneurial network in Sri Lanka by facilitating Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to access global scale which would have never been accessed especially for young entrepreneurs island-wide.

The ICTA is planning to give the chance for the ecosystem enablers to come aboard with them and host the event collaboratively by reaching a wider range of entrepreneur audiences island-wide. Even though the ICTA is the official host of the event, GEW is not only limited to the technological aspect. It also encourages all the entrepreneurs who are apart from the technological background to come and participate in the event, because the event is literally open to any type of entrepreneur with the eagerness to build up their business from any stage.

The GEW platform which enables passionate young entrepreneurs to get together, and the ICTA, Sri Lanka are inviting all the eco-system enablers to come forward and grab this opportunity to host the events together. Those who are interested in holding hands with the ICTA, Sri Lanka, and supporting this great event, join via GEW Enablers registration or write to us at startups@icta.lk.
