Ciputra - GIZ Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

On January 14th-16th, 2015, Ciputra was holding an entrepreneurship training which addressed for German alumnus. The training was held in order to built the trainees mindset about entrepreneurship in Ciputra Way.
First day training was trained by Antonius Tanan, President Director of Universitas Ciputra Entrepreneurship Center (UCEC). He said that the training would include the reflection of Ir. Ciputra and academic research in entrepreneurship. "Morover, we will discussed about opportunity in entrepreneurship, workshop and observation in the field. So in the end, it won't be theoritical only.", he said.

One of the reason the training was held, was to increase number of entrepreneur in Indonesia. Entrepreneur could give jobs to others. Aside from to increase number, Indonesia also has low number in micro-scale business and middle-scale business that could grow. There are loads number of micro-scale business, but unfortunately, those businesses are stay the same. Antonius added that if those entrepreneurs were given the knowledge to innovate, the have bigger opportunity to scale-up their business. Furthermore, if the business scale was bigger, there would be less unemployment. This also mean could increase national economic. 
Second day training was trained by Dharma Kusuma. On the second day, the trainee were focused in workshop and observation. The trainees were given time to observed the Ciputra Artpreneur Museum. They were also asked to explain about what they thought about the Hendra Gunawan's picture that Ir. Ciputra turned into statue, colorless statue and hologram. They were trained to see further in things around them, so they can turn that things into something that would have higher value than before. They were trained to innovate. 

Third day training was trained by Ivan Sandjaja. They were trained about Blue Ocean. Blue Ocean strategy is known since 2005. This strategy includes: 

They created a new market. One of the first shows was titled “We Reinvent the Circus”.

They didn’t compete in the same market from the conventional circus.

They didn’t use animals or Hollywood stars.

They focused on other customers: adults and corporation clients, and, by consequence, caused a different perspective about prices and motivation/capacity to pay for a different experience.

On the last day, German ambassador for Indonesia, Dr. Georg Witschel, joined to observe the entrepreneurship training. This training was held by partnership of Ciputra Foundation and Geselschaft fur Internationale Zusammerbeit (German Development Cooperation), located in Jakarta.
