Introduction to Security and Bug Hunting for High School Students

Bug Zero is the largest bug bounty platform in Sri Lanka. It is also a pioneering research institute. Based on our research and experience working with SMBs to large corporations, we want to introduce high schoolers to the world of cybersecurity and a potential path to entrepreneurship through security and bug hunting.

• Create awareness on cyber security among high school students.
• Promote security as a potential career option and discuss options available for them.
• Promote bug bounty as a potential path while in school
• Discuss about sources that can be used to learn security and bug bounties.
• Discuss about white hat hacking, responsible disclosure, and legal ramifications.
• Debunk any myths on stereotyping in security.
