Introduction to Security and Bug Hunting for Startups

 
Bug Zero is the largest bug bounty platform in Sri Lanka. It is also a pioneering research institute. Based on our research and experience working with SMBs to large corporations, we want to discuss how startups should embrace security with minimal resources and funding. The session would also include how Bug Zero can help startups to overcome constraints such as talent, funding, and time.
 

• Educate local entrepreneurs on the importance of cyber security for their startups.
• Lessons learnt working with hundreds of companies including biggest names in the world to early stage stealth startups. 
• Educate local entrepreneurs on how to correctly approach security given the resource constraints in startups.
• Educate them on how they can use bug bounties for their programs to minimize the security risk on applications.
