With the Global Entrepreneurship Congress two weeks away, attendees from over 150 countries around the world are preparing to congregate in Milan. In addition to the plenary sessions on the agenda for Tuesday and Wednesday, the Congress will feature a number of parallel events throughout the week. These events are often smaller than the Start + Scale Forum or the Research + Policy summit and focus on niche interests.
Entrepreneurs looking to bolster their skills or fine-tune their business plan can attend events like Startup Experience’s transformational workshop that introduces them to the concept of mindset. Data-driven attendees with an interest in examining entrepreneurial ecosystems will likely want to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Index Masterclass, organized by the Global Entrepreneurship and Development Institute (GEDI), a non-profit organization that advances research on links between entrepreneurship, economic development and prosperity. Attendees interested in the investment-side of entrepreneurship meanwhile should consider registering for Thursday’s Global Angel Summit, organized by Global Business Angels Network, Business Angels Europe, Italian Angels for Growth and META Group.
A sample of events to be held during the Congress is included below. For a full list of parallel events, please visit the GEC website.
