Global Entrepreneurship Week in Italy will see several and very diverse events related to the world of entrepreneurship.
The GEW will start from the weekend with two very dynamic events: Startup Weekend in Brescia, organized in partnership with TAG and Rails Girls in Milan, where the Milan hub of Girls in Tech will teach techie girls how to code in Ruby on Rails.
Milan will be the real hub of GEW Italy. During the weekend, the Province of Milan organizes “MiFaccio Impresa”, an event with 20 workshops dedicated to the tools to create a startup. The event will also see a conference on European policies to support and foster entrepreneurship.
From Monday to Wednesday, Filarete Foundation, a foundation focused on life sciences, will hold Filarete Healthy Startups Week--three days of meetings and workshops aimed at university students, PhDs, and aspiring entrepreneurs operating in the healthcare sector.
On Thursday in Perugia, the Agency for Research of Umbria Region will organize a workshop with other Regions in Italy so to exchange the best practices to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Moreover the afternoon will be dedicated to the creative industries; the winners of the Italian phase of the Creative Business Cup and the winners of the Creativity Camp in Umbria will be celebrated.
