JA Innovation Camp

Junior Achievement Innovation Camp is a creative exercise where students learn teamwork, how to turn their ideas into action and how to draft a final concept.
The camp is designed around a specific and real industry or sector and tech related businesses.
Students are asked to come up with solutions to the given problem. They need to move deep into the issue, learn about the industry and the current state-of-play, even considering products or services which may already exist (in competition with what they may want to propose).
The students are split into teams of eight and “launched” into the problem-solving phase. Students divide the different tasks among themselves while making use of the individual strengths of everyone and further develop their interpersonal skills.
At the end of the competition, the teams present their ideas in front of a jury, who chooses the best idea, following the selection criteria. This competition aims to enable students to get to know each other in the modern way of work and to motivate them to think proactively and put their ideas into practice.
