Youth Co:Lab is a joint project from  UNDP and the Citi Foundation, and is the largest social entrepreneurship movement in Asia and the Pacific. It aims to support and empower the youth to launch and scale up their start-ups and businesses that tackle SDGs related issues. Over the years 5000 young entrepreneurs have benefited from the initiative and more than 600 start-ups have been created or improved.

Youth Co: Lab is the organizer of  “Social Innovation Challenge Japan”, "a business idea contest where selected teams will pitch and showcase their SDG-focused business models and ideas to a panel of esteemed judges". Participants will compete for several awards, and for a unique chance to be part of the acceleration programme, as well as attending the Youth Co: Lab Regional Summit scheduled in 2021.

As GEW 2020 comes to an end, let us remember that it is up to governments, communities, international organizations, NGOs, and the private sector to foster entrepreneurship mindest as well as the values of empowerment, equality, social inclusion, and social justice among the youth for a bright, sustainable, and prosperous future!
