JOIN GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK 2022

Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrates its fifteenth anniversary, and JA Bulgaria has been its host since the beginning. Since its launch in 2008, the initiative has helped nearly 50 million people to develop their potential and revitalize the entrepreneurial ecosystem in their country. The campaign has evolved over the years from an initiative that inspires young people to an event involving entrepreneurs, investors, politicians, and public structures that contribute to the growth of the economy and culture of different countries.

In Bulgaria in 2021, proactive teachers from 45 settlements provided an opportunity for more than 2325 students from all stages of school education to touch the ideas of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit. Thereby, each one of them became a like-minded member of JA Bulgaria, whose mission for 25 years has been to help build enterprising individuals who build the future.

Globally, more than 200 countries and nearly 10 million people participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The events we have planned for you in 2022.:

•  14.11 - Official opening of World Entrepreneurship Week.
   
• 18.11 - Skills for success, webinar 3 - "I achieve my goals: I know how to negotiate and sell."
   
• 19.11 – Innovation camp "Entrepreneurship and Circular Economy" in Plovdiv.
   
•  Event by young people for young people in the "Children's Palace" in Ruse

Competitions

This year we have prepared a surprise for the youngest entrepreneurs - children of preschool age and primary stage - a collage, drawing, or animation contest, the topic of which will be announced on November 7. 

We have prepared a challenge contest for high school students, which you will also learn about on November 7.

How you can participate as an event organizer:

As every year, as the host of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the JA Bulgaria team is once again pleased to invite all educational institutions (kindergartens, elementary, primary and secondary schools, vocational high schools, and united children's complexes) working on the entrepreneurial programs of JA Bulgaria to take part in the initiative with an open lesson on a topic chosen by the school (for all ages), an innovation camp (for high school level) or another event of your choice.

Please register your participation by November 10, 2022, by filling out формуляра за регистрация.

After submitting the form, you will receive an automatic confirmation. There you will find a link to download useful resources such as sample invitations to guests and business consultants for your initiative, as well as special certificates to reward outstanding participants in your school. 

After successfully running the 15th-anniversary edition of the week, you will receive a form to share more information about the events you organized, which we will summarize as part of the global week activity report.

To be reflected in the global initiative, your proposed activity must take place no later than November 22.

To facilitate communication, please designate a coordinator as a contact person within your participation registration.

We, for our part, are committed to assisting you:

• in the preparation and organization of the event with methodological instructions and samples of necessary materials;
• with the theme of the business challenge for the innovation camps, which will be the same for all schools;
• by informing RUO and local authorities about the upcoming initiative;
• with sample letters for the invitations to business people to learn about entrepreneurship education at your school;
• by providing a form for reporting the event;
• by promoting your event on our website with photos and descriptions provided by you
