Knowledge session Voka HC - Lessons learned pandemic for welfare and care

This exceptional Covid-19 period has had a heavy impact, affecting every facet of our lives: family life, social contacts, work, sporting and cultural activities. In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic is sharpening the limitations of our current care model: the need for sufficient hands at the bedside, the division of competences and financing. Finally, the pandemic shows the enormous resilience and creativity of the sector. We saw and see a range of innovations and opportunities growing. Just think of the rapid introduction of teleconsultations, the use of dashboards and population managers. Collaborating across the borders of professions and organizations suddenly became and is the most normal thing. 
 

From our Voka Health Community, we would like to reflect on the impact and the many lessons we can learn from this health crisis. Which evolutions have been initiated, which changes do we want to anchor in our healthcare system, which reforms in welfare and care are on our "to do list". We are convinced that creativity and innovation can also be made sustainable in this time of crisis! 

We would therefore like to invite you to the next knowledge session of Voka Health Community on Wednesday 24 November (6 pm) at De Montil in Affligem. During this public session, we will talk to some experts from the field, who will give us the necessary insights about what has stayed with them in these exceptional times. In addition, we use some best practices to show what we want to keep and look ahead at how and which reforms should be made sustainable in future policy.
