Networking Breakfast – How to adapt to change?

Remaining competitive within the business world, as well as in life, imposes a need of seeing the ability to adapt as a competitive advantage.

In this session, Maria Loureiro de Lemos talked about her student and professional background and exemplified how she has always been able to adapt to change.

Maria mentioned that, in his work with multicultural and multivariate teams, she always had to include adaptability in her strategies and business plans. She mentioned that adaptability is the fourth most sought-after skill by companies. "It is necessary to focus on the benefits and advantages that change brings. It is necessary to create an environment in the company that provides prosperity", stated Maria. She concluded by saying that "organizational adaptability is the necessary ability to break paradigms, change the vision and adjust focus to new realities. We have to think with a broad spectrum, and not only within the company’s focus".
