Launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week in the East Region

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025: Spotlight on the East Region

The East Region of Cameroon is set to host the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, a major initiative aimed at promoting innovation, creativity, and business development. This week-long event provides a platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities that can drive economic growth and development in the region.

The East Region, rich in natural resources, agriculture, and artisanal production, offers vast entrepreneurial potential. GEW 2025 will showcase local initiatives, empowering entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses while contributing to the regional economy.

The program includes practical workshops, training sessions, and mentoring programs to equip participants with skills in business management, marketing, and innovation. By addressing local challenges and opportunities, GEW aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurial thinking and problem-solving among emerging and established entrepreneurs alike.

Youth and women, key drivers of innovation and social development, are central to the celebration. Schools and universities will host entrepreneurial clubs and mentorship initiatives, while special activities highlight women-led enterprises, promoting inclusive and equitable entrepreneurship.

Conferences, panel discussions, and exhibitions will provide a space to share success stories, inspire innovation, and foster collaboration between local entrepreneurs, policymakers, and business leaders. GEW 2025 in the East Region is more than an event; it is a movement to stimulate economic opportunity, strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and inspire a culture of creativity and resilience.

Through this initiative, the East Region demonstrates that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for progress, empowerment, and sustainable prosperity in Cameroon.
