Launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week in the North-West Region
Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025: Spotlight on the North-West Region
The North-West Region of Cameroon is set to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, a week-long initiative designed to promote innovation, creativity, and business development. This event brings together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and stakeholders to share ideas, explore opportunities, and strengthen the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant local markets, and thriving small businesses, the North-West Region offers significant entrepreneurial potential in sectors such as agriculture, trade, technology, and handicrafts. GEW 2025 aims to showcase these opportunities by providing a platform for entrepreneurs to present their projects, gain mentorship, and connect with partners.
The program includes workshops, training sessions, and mentoring initiatives focused on business management, innovation, marketing strategies, and financial literacy. These activities are designed to equip both emerging and established entrepreneurs with practical skills to grow sustainable businesses and seize new market opportunities.
Youth and women, key drivers of innovation and social change, are central to the celebrations. Schools, universities, and community organizations will host entrepreneurial clubs and mentorship programs, while specific sessions will highlight the achievements of women-led enterprises, promoting inclusive and equitable entrepreneurship.
Conferences, panel discussions, and exhibitions will provide opportunities to share success stories, inspire creativity, and foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, government representatives, and industry leaders. GEW 2025 in the North-West Region is more than an event—it is a movement to empower local talent, stimulate innovation, and build a resilient and prosperous economy.
Through this initiative, the North-West Region demonstrates that entrepreneurship is a vital driver of progress, opportunity, and sustainable growth in Cameroon.
