Economic Forum Stefan Voda: From Farm to Table, From Local to Global

The Forum will kick off with the Official Opening and Plenary Session from 10:30 to 11:30. The session will feature key insights from representatives from relevant Ministries, top Academic institutions, and official Partners. The day begins with the registration of participants and a coffee break, followed by a tour of the Vernissage.

The core of the Forum is structured around two parallel workshops designed to address critical areas of regional economic development:

Panel I: Sustainable Agriculture and Adaptation to Global Markets

Moderated by Andrei Dinga, this session will focus on concrete solutions for farmers. Key discussion points include:

  • Implementing irrigation and efficiency solutions.

  • Developing small-scale processing and a local producers' hub.

  • Consultations regarding the Law of Cooperatives and the Law of Certification Requirements
Panel II: Gastronomy & Experiential Tourism
 

Led by Corina Timofti , this workshop will explore the synergy between tourism, heritage, and gastronomy. Topics will cover:

  • The role of tourism in regional development. 

  • Gastronomy and culinary tourism. 

  • The valorization of cultural patrimony

The Forum will conclude with a Closing Session dedicated to summarizing conclusions and adopting resolutions. The day will culminate with a Networking Lunch and Local Tasting, offering participants a final opportunity to connect and sample local products.

The event is organized by the Ștefan Vodă District Council and supported by partners including GEN Moldova, CHATEAU PURCARI, ZEN, ANTRIM, and RESORT SPA.
