How to Burnout?

How to Burnout?

Building a startup can be intense. Long working hours, constant decisions, uncertainty and the feeling that there is always more to do can quickly become part of everyday life.

But when does ambition turn into chronic exhaustion? And how can founders protect their mental health without simply being told to "work less"?

How to Burnout is a practical workshop on burnout prevention, specifically designed for founders and ambitious people working in demanding, high-performance environments. The workshop is held in German.

Together, we will explore what happens in the brain and nervous system when stress becomes chronic, why simply taking time off is sometimes not enough, and how to recognize early warning signs of burnout before they develop into a serious problem.

Our speaker Rahaf Jourieh is a physician with a research background in neuroscience. As a coach, she works with ambitious people who feel a gap between their current reality and the life they actually want to lead, but lack the energy to make a change.

Drawing on cognitive, body-based and identity-based approaches, Rahaf will introduce practical tools to better understand your own stress patterns, regulate your nervous system and develop a more sustainable way of working.

This is not about being less ambitious. It is about learning how to stay ambitious without burning yourself out.

What to expect:

  • Understand the connection between chronic stress, the brain and the nervous system
  • Recognize early warning signs of burnout
  • Reflect on your own patterns around pressure and exhaustion
  • Learn practical methods for regulation and recovery
  • Connect with other founders and people working in similarly demanding environments

Come as you are - tired, ambitious, curious, or somewhere in between.
