Strategic Leadership for Reliable and Accountable Governance

Strategic Leadership for Reliable and Accountable Governance, organized by the Ateneo School of Government through its Executive Education Center, is a two-day training course scheduled for November 16–17, 2026, at the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Heights Campus, Quezon City, Philippines. The program is designed to help government officers strengthen their leadership capabilities and promote reliability, responsiveness, and accountability in public service through the application of High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and Completed Staff Work (CSW) practices.

The training focuses on applying structured processes, disciplined decision-making, and effective staff work to improve organizational performance and ensure accurate, accountable, and dependable results. Participants will also explore strategies for managing burnout, sustaining reliability in high-pressure environments, and using constructive criticism and feedback to support continuous improvement. By the end of the course, participants are expected to better analyze and apply HRO and CSW frameworks to government operations, strengthen decision-making and accountability, and contribute to a more resilient and reliable public service.
