GEW 2015: Create Dream Think Act!

Metropolitan International University College (MIUC) organized a two-day event during the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015 (GEW 2015). MIUC aimed to instill the spirit and zeal of entrepreneurship in their students. The second day event was held at Roots International School, Wellington Campus on 17 November, 2015. It comprised of various sessions and panel discussion with Islamabad’s entrepreneurs. The event started with an inspiring speech delivered by CEO RIS and Rector MIUC, Mr. Walid Mushtaq. List of chief guest speakers contained such renowned names as Mr. Junaid Kalim, CEO of Kalim Associates; Ms. Izzah Ahmed, Owner of Juicy Gossip; Mr. Tanveer Mughal, CEO of Symbol Estate; Mr. Qamar Sheraz, Training Facilitator; Mr. Qamar Sheraz, Training Facilitator at The Missing P; Founding member of Savour Foods, Professor Arshad Ahmed; and Mr. Ehtisham Karim, CEO of Fight Fortress while the event was hosted by Dr. Musstanser Tinauli, Owner of Fori Mazdori. The speakers illuminated upon the challenges of entering and conquering the entrepreneurial world. They imparted words of wisdom that derived from their varying areas of expertise, but still contained those gems of wisdom that could help any and all future entrepreneurs. The chief guest speakers encouraged the students to share innovative, entrepreneurial ideas upon which they provided feedback and highlighted the possible challenges the aspiring entrepreneurs would face.
