Iqra University celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from November 16 to November 21, 2015 at the North Campus, Karachi by organizing a number of events throughout the week.
The following entrepreneurs were invited to participate in the activities organized by Iqra University: Arslan Larik, Ansar Shah, Syed Sarim Bin Tahir, Amtul Baweja, Muhammad Faraz Ahmed Khan, Shyma Raza Baig at INJAZorg, Shazia Yaqub at Wadhwani Foundation, Iqbal Saeed and Asad Ullah Chaudhry
On November 16, Syed Ansar Hussain Shah, CEO of Super Meal gave his presentation on ‘Try, Fail, Learn; Repeat – A recipie for successful entrepreneurship journey’ and Arslan Larik, CEO at Trillion Pvt. Ltd shared his thoughts on ‘Dare to be different’.
On November 17, Syed Sarim Bin Tahir, Co-Founder/Chief Strategist Officer of Horizon Softtech Pvt. Ltd. illuminated students on ‘How Entrepreneurs think’.
On 18 and 19 November, Amtul Baweja, Muhammad Faraz Ahmed Khan, Shyma Raza Baig from INJAZ Pakistan facilitated two workshops: Entrepreneur Master Class and Innovation Camp. These were certified sessions from Injaz Pakistan and proved to be a huge learning curve for students at Iqra University.
On November 20, Shazia Yaqub, the International Program Consultant for Entrepreneurship at Wadhwani Foundation visited the campus and enlightened the students by giving a talk on ‘Cultivating a culture of Entrepreneurship’. Iqbal Saeed, CEO at Wilson Learning Pakistan also visited the campus and inspired the students by presenting on the topic, ‘Get Set Go’. Asadullah Chaudhry, CEO at AUC Technologies further motivated the students with his topic ‘Creative Genius’.
