Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2020

Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2020 took place from September 22 to 24, at the Lisbon Congress Center. This event is a meeting point and a marketplace to create opportunities for the national and international market.

This year, it happened in a hybrid format, which allowed in-person interactions, as well as virtual presence, and had more than 80 national and international speakers.

StartUp Portimão attended this event with an exhibition space and a video presentation of its incubated entrepreneurs.

On the last day, the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira, attended the Portugal Smart Cities Summit. The Minister visited the StartUp Portimão booth, accompanied by Jorge Rocha de Matos, President of the Portuguese Industrial Association, where they got to know the incubator’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and received our Investors’ Guide and Entrepreneurs’ Guide.
