Raising Innovators and Entrepreneurs Featuring Guest Speaker Lucas Chang

This will be a time for parents and students to come together with other parents and professionals to discuss how best to support youth in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship. The guest speaker, Lucas Chang is an entrepreneur and passionate advocate for youth’s ability to contribute innovative solutions to complex challenges. As the father of a student preparing for high school, and developer of entrepreneurial activities for youth, he is familiar with the worries that come with rapid changes in society and will provide advice to parents and youth on how to develop the skills and mindsets that will be required for success. York Region District School Board will present some of its programming in this area and YSpace will introduce itself as a new community hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
