Jenga Hackathon at CMU-Africa
Jenga Hackathon
The Jenga Hackathon is a virtual competition that invites university students in Kigali to construct AI-driven solutions that contribute to Rwanda’s Vision 2050, Africa Agenda 2063 and SDGs. "Jenga," meaning "Build" in Swahili, emphasizes the foundational act of creating and developing innovations that will shape Rwanda’s future. The hackathon provides students with the opportunity to utilize AI, LLMs (Large Language Models), and emerging technologies to build impactful solutions focused on SDGs 4 & 8 — Quality Education and Decent Work & Economic Growth.
