Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) Information Session

Dear staff and students,

You are invited to attend the Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) information session. The SAGE initiative was formed to support the hiring, promotion, participation and retention of women in science, engineering, technology, mathematics and medicine (STEMM). At the session the SAGE Project Manager, Dr Zuleyka Zevallos, will outline how students, faculty members, staff and leaders can get involved and will discuss:

• Changing the gender equity landscape in STEMM
• objectives of the SAGE Pilot
• Purpose and benefits of Athena SWAN Awards
• The institutional application process
