SEDC Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023
A week packed of various activities to highlight and showcase our local MSME's.
Virtual live stream, officially launching SEDC Entrepreneurship Week with addresses by a representative of the Ministry of TEATT as well as a member of the SEDC.
Marketing competition - local entrepreneurs can post about their business on SEDC social media platforms. Post with the most likes at the end of the week will win a cash prize.
Business Highlights . SEDC will be highlighting four local entrepreneurs in the following categories:
- Business Queens; Woman in Business
- Showing up & Showing out, Gen Z; Young entrepreneurs under 30
- From Here / Made Here; Locally made businesses
1st Panel Discussion - "Keeping it Real!" Virtual live stream panel discussion with a moderator and four startup entrepreneurs talking about their process, challenges and successes of starting their business. Giving tip, tricks and advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.
SEDC will be an exhibitor at the SXM National Employment Service Center's Entrepreneurship Expo where we will interact, speak with and offer guidance to MSME's.
2nd Panel Discussion - "Breaking Barriers" Live audience and virtual live stream panel discussion with a moderator and four prominent panelist speaking on how to Innovate, Overcome and Grow in business in SXM. Q&A session for audience member at the end. Mini Expo will be held during this event as well whereby 5 entrepreneurs can showcase and sell their products/services.
