SHOW ME THE MONEY! – Understanding Financial Statements

Financial Statements can be considered the score card of any organization. From Balance Sheets to Cash Flow Statements, information emerging from Financial Statements serve great value and purpose. As a result, the need to possess some proficiency in accurately interpreting the Financial Statements cannot be underestimated.

A sound understanding of Financial Statements stands to better position individuals to appreciate the strategic decisions and plans being undertaken in a business. This information is critical and allows entrepreneurs and executives to make better informed decisions. Additionally, it allows shareholders and board members to better evaluate company performance.

With this in mind, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in collaboration with the Savings Bank Foundation for International Development (SBID) held an edifying and practical workshop on Monday 18th November, 2019 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. The workshop was held on the 5th Floor Conference Room of the Financial Administrative Centre in Pointe Seraphine, Castries.

This workshop forms part of the program for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) which runs from the 18th to the 24th of November, 2019.
