Awareness Programme on Health Issues Caused by Plastic and Polythene Usage
As part of Global Entrepreneurs Week – 2025, the Hatharaliyadda Vidatha Resource Centre conducted an awareness programme on 26.11.2025 at the Divisional Secretariat Office. The session educated participants on the health risks linked to the frequent use of plastic and polythene, including chemical exposure, environmental contamination, and long-term health impacts.
The programme aimed to encourage safer household practices, promote sustainable alternatives, and build community understanding on reducing plastic dependency.
