Business Banking & Loan Access ذ Kalutara District

This initiative supported entrepreneurs in Kalutara to overcome financial barriers by enhancing their knowledge of business banking processes and loan facilitation. Participants explored a range of financing sources including commercial banks, development finance institutions, and micro-finance providers. The workshop provided insights into documentation standards, financial forecasting, and risk mitigation strategies that lender institutions evaluate. Through guided activities, entrepreneurs practiced constructing cashflow statements, projecting revenue, and developing realistic repayment plans. Special focus was given to women-led and youth-led enterprises, helping them understand targeted grant and loan schemes. The program enabled business owners to build stronger financial capacity and pursue scalable opportunities.
