Empowering Students through Entrepreneurship

The Empowering Students Through Entrepreneurship session, conducted on 11 November 2025 as part of GEW 2025, was designed to inspire young learners to understand the opportunities, responsibilities, and mindset required to succeed as future entrepreneurs. Organized by ICST University Park and guided by Mr. A.M.M. Aasik, the session broadened students’ perspectives on how creativity, leadership, and problem-solving can shape meaningful and innovative career paths. 

Students were introduced to key entrepreneurial skills such as innovation, initiative, critical thinking, adaptability, and strategic planning. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities, participants learned how to identify market needs, analyze problems, and conceptualize solutions that provide real value. The facilitator emphasized the importance of resilience, continuous learning, financial awareness, and the ability to take calculated risks qualities essential for modern entrepreneurs. 

The session had a strong impact, helping students develop confidence in their ability to create and grow business ideas. They explored the fundamentals of business planning, financial management, branding, and market strategy. Students also gained exposure to digital tools, AI, and online platforms that support business growth, showing them how technology plays a crucial role in today's entrepreneurial landscape. 

As participants engaged in guided activities, they deepened their understanding of how business models are created, how opportunities are evaluated, and how sustainable solutions are developed. The interactive environment encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and creative thinking. Students left the session with clarity, ambition, and a strong foundation in practical business strategies, empowering them to take the next steps toward building their own ventures. 

Overall, the session successfully equipped students with the motivation, mindset, and essential tools needed to view entrepreneurship as a powerful and achievable path for their future aligning with ICST’s mission to nurture leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial excellence.
