Food Dehydration Training Programme
Held on 13 November 2025 at the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha, this training programme provided practical guidance on dehydrating fruits and vegetables using safe and hygienic methods. The Science & Technology Officer of Elpitiya conducted the session, teaching participants slicing techniques, temperature control, pre-treatments, and proper packaging. The programme aimed to support local entrepreneurs by promoting value-added food processing opportunities.
