Food Safety & Food Regulations Awareness Workshop
A free awareness workshop on Food Safety and Food Regulations was organized by the Ministry of Science & Technology in collaboration with VIDATHA and the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI). The session provided participants—including entrepreneurs, startups, and industrialists—with essential guidance on food safety practices, Sri Lankan regulatory requirements, and compliance procedures. ITI specialists delivered expert insights on safe manufacturing, maintaining quality standards, and meeting certification needs. This programme aimed to strengthen MSME capacity and support the development of safe, high-quality food products for the local market.
