How to Start a Business as a women

The “How to Start a Business as a Woman” session, held on 04th November 2025, was designed to empower women and parents especially from rural and underrepresented communities by showing them that entrepreneurship is possible while managing family responsibilities. The session aimed to break the belief that business ownership requires full-time freedom, guiding participants to see that with proper planning, determination and support, anyone can build a successful small or home based venture.

During the session, participants received practical advice on balancing family duties with business activities, identifying business ideas based on personal skills, and starting small with manageable steps. A key highlight was the resource person’s personal story, which deeply inspired attendees by showing real-life challenges and achievements in balancing motherhood, family life, and entrepreneurship.

Students and community members actively engaged in discussions, asked meaningful questions, and began identifying business ideas relevant to their local needs. Many women expressed renewed motivation and confidence to pursue financial independence, with some seeking further guidance to begin their entrepreneurial journey. The supportive environment helped shift mindsets from fear to possibility, encouraging families to see the value of supporting women-led businesses.

Overall, the session made a significant impact by inspiring participants to view entrepreneurship as an achievable and rewarding path. It planted the seeds for real entrepreneurial action, empowering women to take their first steps toward independence, creativity, and community development.
