Inauguration Session of GEW & What is Entrepreneurship

The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 inauguration at ICST University was conducted as an engaging and inspiring platform to promote entrepreneurial awareness among students. Organized in partnership with the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the event aimed to introduce participants to the global movement that celebrates innovation, creativity, and startup culture.

The activity included a series of sessions focused on developing essential entrepreneurial skills such as critical thinking, leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Students took part in discussions, interactive workshops, and real-world learning activities that encouraged them to think innovatively and transform their ideas into actionable plans.

Throughout the program, participants were exposed to industry perspectives, success stories, and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and ICT professionals. These interactions helped students gain a clearer understanding of the startup ecosystem, the importance of adaptability, and how technology plays a major role in today’s business landscape.

Additionally, the activity emphasized networking, volunteering, and teamwork—highlighting how collaboration and hands-on experience contribute to personal and professional growth. Students were motivated to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and many expressed increased interest in pursuing future startup initiatives.

Overall, the GEW 2025 activity served as a meaningful learning experience that strengthened entrepreneurial mindset, enhanced digital literacy, and fostered a culture of creativity and innovation within the university community.
