Positive Mindset

The Positive Thinking Session, held on 01st November 2025, was organized by the undergraduates of ICST University Park as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, in collaboration with ICTA Sri Lanka. The session aimed to strengthen students’ logical reasoning, creativity, emotional resilience, and overall problem-solving abilities.

Students were introduced to the differences between negative and positive thinking, explored why negative thoughts arise—such as fear, pressure, and self-doubt—and learned practical strategies to convert those thoughts into positive ones. Real-life examples like “I failed” → “I can try again with a better method” and “No one supports me” → “I will support myself first” were used to help students reshape their mindset.

Interactive activities further encouraged students to think creatively by transforming negative situations into constructive solutions. These exercises helped them build self-belief, confidence, and the courage to face challenges without giving up

The session had a strong impact on participants. Students became more emotionally stable, solution-focused, and disciplined. They gained a clearer understanding that failures are part of growth and developed positive attitudes essential for both personal and academic success. Overall, the activity successfully inspired students to approach life with optimism, resilience, and a strong positive mindset.
