Power of Ideas

The Power of Ideas session, held on 06 November 2025 as part of GEW 2025, was designed to help students understand the value of creativity and the potential behind innovative thinking. Organized by ICST University, the session aimed to show students that impactful solutions and entrepreneurial ventures often begin with simple ideas that are developed thoughtfully and confidently. 

Students were guided through creative-thinking techniques, brainstorming methods, and real-life examples of successful innovations that started from basic concepts. The facilitators emphasized observing everyday problems and approaching them with curiosity, imagination, and open-mindedness. Through discussions and guided reflection, students learned to evaluate ideas based on originality, usefulness, and feasibility. 

The session had a strong positive impact, creating a warm environment where students felt confident expressing their ideas. They actively participated in group discussions, brainstorming activities, and short presentations that strengthened their teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills. Facilitators further enhanced learning by highlighting how simple ideas grow into meaningful innovations when nurtured properly. 

By the end of the session, students reported feeling more inspired, creative, and motivated to apply innovative thinking in schoolwork, group projects, and personal challenges. The experience boosted their belief in their creative potential and helped them understand the importance of idea generation in problem-solving and entrepreneurship.
