Problem Solving

The “Problem Solving” session, held on 01st November 2025 under Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 at ICST University, was designed to help students strengthen their critical thinking, emotional control, and decision-making skills. The session focused on teaching students how to approach challenges calmly and logically using a structured problem-solving process.

Students learned key steps such as identifying the real issue, finding the root cause, generating solutions, selecting the best option, and testing it. They were encouraged to view problems not as obstacles but as opportunities to learn, grow, and apply creativity. Interactive activities like the “Tough/Duff Challenge” allowed students to practice teamwork, communication, and analytical thinking in real time.

Throughout the session, students showed strong enthusiasm and engagement. Facilitators observed noticeable improvements in how participants expressed ideas, made decisions, stayed calm under pressure, and approached tasks more systematically. Students also reported feeling more confident in managing academic responsibilities such as group projects, presentations, and time management.

Overall, the activity successfully developed students’ logical reasoning, emotional resilience, and practical decision-making, empowering them with essential life skills for both academic and personal growth.
